Responsibilities:

- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage and labeling.
- Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients by answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy assistant is preferred. ---Knowledge of Koll is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with pharmacy operations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of patient care principles in an acute care or critical care setting is a plus.

**Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kemptville, ON K0G 1J0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
