Buyer

Futech is an electrical distributor, and our sectors of activity are the supply of electrical equipment and motors for the residential, commercial and industrial market.

The Buyer works closely with suppliers, sales, shipping/receiving and administration. This is a central position within our company.

Main responsibilities:

- Prepare and send purchase orders to different suppliers
- Track current purchase vouchers
- Enter anticipated receipt dates into the system
- Negotiate prices and purchasing conditions if necessary
- Establish and maintain contacts with suppliers
- Produce and analyze inventory reports
- Maintain a certain volume of inventory at all times
- Any other related tasks

**Requirements**:

- Hold a secondary 5 diploma
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience in a similar position
- Possess excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual is an asset ( French)
- Have good computer skills and mastery of the Microsoft Office suite
- Have excellent organizational, time management and priority skills
- Ability to work without supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Having good knowledge of the electrical field and the electrical distribution sales model is an asset.
