**Overview**

Support the Sanitation Supervisor in overseeing sanitation activities and completing the post-sanitation inspection of food manufacturing equipment, facilities and utensils in a safe manner while following Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety Policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Company Procedures.

**Essential Job Functions/Duties**
- To assist the supervisor in performing an inspection of freshly cleaned food manufacturing equipment and facilities to ensure that equipment and facility meet sanitary standards and are prepared for manufacturing operations.
- Swabbing as per customer frequency (ATP, micro)
- Audit Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure and update documents as required.
- Handling and mixing chemicals
- Chemical concentration verification
- Completion of Customer required sanitation and swab documentation.
- Interaction with customer/CFIA/GFSI Auditors

**Job Characteristics**
- Consistent _40-hour work week_ on an _**overnight**_**shift**_(overtime and holiday work may be required based on Customer production and/or non-daily sanitation scheduling) including weekend work (Saturday and Sunday).
- This position _may_ require the operation of high pressure washing, scrubbing, and sanitizing to correct deviations.
- Cold and wet environment
- Some computer work

**Job Qualifications**
- Ability to work well under pressure and with little management.
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles
- Good communication and organization skills and able to work well in a team environment.
- Must work with an attention to detail and take pride in a job well done.
- Reliable and punctual
- Familiar with MS Office
- Own transportation required as public transportation not available for all shift end times and you will be expected to travel between locations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
