Cbord Manager

**Job Description**:
In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) patient and staff safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone; as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.

Reporting to the Regional Manager Food Services, the CBORD Manager is responsible for the planning, organizing, analysis, and evaluation of the CBORD food service information system and associated services within Island Health. The CBORD Manager reviews, recommends and creates plans for changes required to the system to meet the day to day business requirements and future business needs. Ensures Island Health menus are in accordance with all relevant nutrition guidelines and. Works in collaboration with other Island Health departments, external agencies and vendors, as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education, Training And Experience**:
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition, five (5) years' experience as a System Administrator of a food and nutrition information systems (preferably CBORD) in a healthcare environment. Heath care management experience is an asset. Must belong to, or be eligible for membership with Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM).
