Reporting to the Dean, Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL), the incumbent’s primary role is providing multimedia production support to faculty and CTL team members. Multimedia projects may include designing and producing various educational and communication materials, including videos, podcasts, web platforms, interactive digital learning tools, digital media and other projects that contribute to more significant college initiatives related to digital innovation. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

- Creating multimedia assets, including immersive video, animations, and interactive elements
- Providing audio/video, editing, and production services to support faculty with creating digital content for courses
- Developing instructional materials and delivering workshops to faculty and staff on multimedia skills - including how to capture, edit and produce audio and video content for in-class and virtual learning, how to create podcasts, how to use studio equipment, and how to leverage artificial intelligence tools to produce multimedia content (Dall-E2/3
- Providing support to various XR initiatives
- Ensuring that all assets produced are AODA compliant and adhere to copyright guidelines
- Providing multimedia support to CTL projects and social media channels (e.g., conferences, YouTube, online events)
- Providing one-on-one assistance to faculty and staff in multimedia design and production
- Delivering workshops and developing resources on the design and production of digital media/learning materials as needed
- Assisting in the upkeep of the CTL webpages and social media channels, including YouTube and other social media platforms
- Exploring the functionality of new educational technology tools that can facilitate innovative course design, including leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) tools
- Maintaining a database of multimedia assets, including stock audio, images and videos used in projects, as well as original creations
- Participating in and contributing to team meetings and projects within the CTL
- Supporting various external partners on multimedia creation projects as it relates to faculty teaching and learning development and support
- QUALIFICATIONS:

- Successfully completed a two-year diploma in Media Arts, Visual Arts, Front-end Web Development, Multimedia Production, Music Production, Communication or Broadcasting Arts, Graphic Design, and/or Education Technology or a related field
- A minimum of three years of experience creating multimedia video and audio content for clients, websites, social and media channels
- Experience developing high-quality multimedia assets using advanced tools and technical expertise; audio/visual production using standard and industry tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and related software
- Experience creating and maintaining YouTube or other social media channels
- Experience creating immersive and interactive content for communication, or educational purposes, etc.
