**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
**Responsibilities** of the Project Coordinator I include but are not limited to:

- Prepare tables, charts and presentations to present research information to management.
- Prepare written correspondence, reports and presentations using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Prepare internal and external-facing communications; liaise with various stakeholders, clinicians, and research staff
- Facilitate and organize meetings.
- Prepare work plan and schedules for projects as assigned, and monitor project progress on regular basis, reporting the same to management.
- Review and recommend improvements to existing trial procedures and oversee implementation of new procedures.
- Provide oversight and direction to Research Assistants working on assigned projects.
- Provide ongoing training and mentorship to Research Assistants to facilitate capacity building among the project team.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Successful completion of a university degree in a relevant field including public health, psychology, and/or health sciences.
- Minimum of 2-years related experience in a research environment.
- Experience facilitating successful project completion including managing project timelines, delegating tasks, coordinating project team members, and overseeing progress.
- Leadership experience coordinating and overseeing Research Assistants in their project/study-related tasks.
- Experience interacting with diverse project stakeholders, including clinicians, academics, advocacy groups, participants, and providers.
- Technological competence and experience with platforms such as Google Drive, Zoom and EndNote.
- Superior organizational and time management skills with a flexibility to adjust to priorities.
- Advanced technical skills and proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to make decisions and to exercise good judgement
- Demonstrated professionalism and ability to work with a variety of individuals in a co-operative manner both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work conscientiously and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
