**Performance Auditor**
**(Pay Bands 5-7 $61,204 - $103,142 per annum)**

The Office of the Auditor General, located in Fredericton, is an independent office that serves the New Brunswick Legislative Assembly. The Auditor General assists the Legislative Assembly in holding the government accountable by reporting on government's performance and stewardship of public funds and resources. This is accomplished by completing financial statement and performance audits. The findings of the office are issued in the Auditor General's annual report to the Legislative Assembly and through appearances before the Standing Committees on Public Accounts.

We are currently searching for experienced individuals to fill the position of Performance Auditor within our Office.

Applicants must clearly demonstrate these qualifications to be given further consideration.

Required competencies include strategic thinking, quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, research skills, achievement motivation, initiative, communications skills, and the ability to exercise sound professional judgment.
