Reporting to the Manager_, In-Home Services and Meals on Wheels_, the _Food Services Assistant_ assists with food preparations for the Adult Day Program and serves clients at the Better Bistro, processes payments, issues bills using the cash register system, and tracks financials.

This position is located in Don Mills.

**Eligibility**:

- Between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment; and
- A Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

- Enrollment in or graduation from a post-secondary program (diploma or degree) in Food Services is an asset.
- Experience with documentation and strong communication skills.
- Experience in a food service environment is an asset.

**Wage**: $16.50 per hour

**Schedule**: 30 hours per week, for 9 weeks

**Salary**: $16.50 per hour
