As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping memorable dining experiences. Your knack for orchestrating seamless operations will ensure the highest level of service and guest satisfaction. We are looking for an individual who is looking to take the next step in their hospitality career by learning under an experienced General Manager in a consistently busy restaurant.
ARGOS Bar|Bistro is a place where the flavors of the North Mediterranean take center stage in a vibrant fusion of Spanish, Greek, and Italian cuisine. At ARGOS, guests embark on a culinary journey through the sun-soaked landscapes of these coastal regions, indulging in tantalizing dishes crafted with authenticity and innovation. Our menu caters to all tastes, offering a diverse selection of tapas, shareable platters, and individual dishes, ensuring there's something for everyone to savor.
As the aroma of freshly prepared delicacies fills the air, our lively cocktail bar beckons with an extensive selection of handcrafted libations, perfect for pairing with our flavorful fare. With a blend of rustic charm and contemporary elegance, our Mediterranean-inspired ambiance sets the stage for some memorable dining experiences
Some of your duties will include...
- Ensure all guests are attended to and served in a prompt, professional, efficient, and friendly manner
- Maintain a high level of service, as well as food, bar product, and recipe knowledge
- Ensure all products are prepared and served according to ARGOS specifications
- Practice the responsible selling and serving alcohol to patrons at all times
- Implement and promote upcoming and current specials and promotions
- Accountability and management of cash
- Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the dining room area
- Ensure ARGOS' reputation for outstanding customer service, quality of food, and cleanliness standards are upheld at all times
- Promoting and up-selling of our products, in a positive, upbeat, respectful and professional manner
- Answer guest questions, concerns, and relay feedback and allergy concerns
- Carry out all delegations given by the General Manager
**Requirements**:
- Must be bond-able and friendly
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Responsible for handling cash and other payment information within the restaurant
- Open availability for days, on-call, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented atmosphere
- Attain ProServe Certification from AGLC’s website
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
