CNC Lathe Setter/operator

New and exciting things are in the works CNC is on track for a 5 year growth phase and we are currently looking for an individual to join the team in the position of a CNC Lathe Setter. CNC is positioned for expansion in the coming years and this is your opportunity to join us.

**What would you be doing?**
- Set up and operate CNC machines for various production lot sizes
- Work with and support other operators
- G-Code programming and cutting tool experience
- Reading mechanical drawings and blue prints fluently, identification of critical dimensions and part features
- Perform precise measuring using a variety of inspection equipment and instruments
- Perform other duties as required.

**What do you need?**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in mechanical or manufacturing engineering technology or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in a machining environment; demonstrated knowledge of machining processes
- Knowledge in CAD/CAM Programming an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$32.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bowmanville, ON L1C 3Y7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- machinist: 2 years (preferred)
