We are seeking a **Shipper/Receiver **to join our Overhead Door Division team. If you, or someone you know, is interested in this role of installing new and servicing existing fencing, then we would like to meet you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer;
- Verify, count, weigh and measure incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other paperwork;
- Unpack and do quality checks on incoming shipments, rejecting damaged goods, recording shortages and working with shipper to correct;
- Supervise and direct warehouse crew;
- Fill orders, assembling orders and prepare product for shipping;
- Other shipping/receiving or material handling duties as assigned;
- Ensure timely follow up to delayed or pending items to ensure deadlines are achieved;
- Inspecting completed doors and comparing to order paperwork to ensure accuracy;
- Operate forklift, pallet jack, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload (flat deck/van/cubevan), transport and store goods;
- Ship goods ensuring deadlines are achieved and complete documentation is included;
- Report safety hazards, quality and production issues to supervision immediately;
- Place incoming product into inventory while observing inventory levels and reporting to warehouse manager;
- Participate in inventory counting and ensures accuracy;
- Receive inbound materials by verifying labeling and quantities of material against documentation and enter in system and ensure proper storage;
- Complies with all Company policies and procedures and laws;
- Other duties and projects as assigned;
- Keep receiving and shipping areas neat and clean including maintaining neat and organized material storage;
- Assist customers as required;
- Participates in all job related safety training.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Shipper/Receiver;
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Strong computer skills, with ability to use or learn to use manufacturing and order processing software/systems;
- Have a positive attitude and are an enthusiastic individual;
- Reliable and have a strong work ethic;
- Good basic shop math skills;
- Excellent customer service and communication skills;
- Ability to effectively communicate with teams and solve issues that may arise;
- Physically capable of performing the essential duties of the job and lifting up to 60lbs;
- Complete an inventory count annually and make necessary reports;
- Safety and quality focus, with ability to safely rig a load for lifting;
- Must be able to operate a forklift;
- Forklift operation and/or warehouse experience is an asset;
- Pride in being on time, self-sufficient, and able to provide knowledgeable, excellent customer service;
- High attention to detail is essential with ability to multi-task.
