**Director of Pedagogical Services and Educational Technology**:
The Director of Pedagogical Services and Educational Technology leads LEARN’s Pedagogical Services team who develops and shares educational resources and provides professional learning opportunities for educators. We also develop tools and support the pedagogical integration of educational technologies through our provincial RÉCIT for the anglophone community mandate. We work collaboratively with educators, pedagogical consultants, and community partners to create innovative pedagogical projects and engaging learning environments that support student success for the anglophone youth sector in Quebec.

The role requires a collaborative, visionary leader who values inclusivity, drives innovation, and is skilled at fostering relationships with stakeholders to advance LEARN’s mission.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
**Strategic Leadership**
- Oversee the Pedagogical Services and Educational Technology department, ensuring alignment with LEARN’s mission, policies and procedures, the Quebec Education Program, and other MEQ directives.
- Participate in strategic planning for the department and the organization.
- Represent LEARN at meetings with the Board of Directors, MEQ, and various educational committees.

**Management**
- Lead the planning, management, and evaluation of team operations. Supervise and support team members in a collaborative and innovative hybrid environment (both in-person and remote) to ensure the effective delivery of professional development, resource creation, and pedagogical services to Quebec's English Education Community.
- Maintain and coordinate quality assurance for all Pedagogical and Educational Technology services offered by LEARN.
- Prepare reports and provide information for the stakeholders and serve as liaison in all matters concerning educational services.
- Oversee all other educational and pedagogical dossiers.

**Partnerships and Collaboration**
- Build and maintain relationships with the MEQ, school boards, and other educational stakeholders to develop cohesive strategies and joint initiatives that support the community.
- Promote impactful projects and partner with research-based organizations and institutions
- Conduct technology watch activities, and experiment with emerging educational technologies to enhance services and foster system-wide innovation.

**Organization-wide Responsibilities**:

- Work collaboratively with LEARN’s executive team and staff to fulfill the organization's mission.
- Model core organizational beliefs and values; communicate openly and effectively within and across departments. Establish and maintain professional communication and ensure that all interactions are supportive, courteous, and respectful.
- Use effective communication skills to present information accurately and clearly both internally and publicly.
- Participate in professional development activities that are aligned with organization and individual goals.
- Maintain accurate and complete records as required; file all physical and digital reports, records, and other documents as required.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and serve on committees as required.
- Comply with all policies, operating procedures, legal requirements, and verbal and written directives.
- Perform other related duties as required.

**Education and Experience Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in education or a relevant field; or Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Education and equivalent work experience
- Ten years of experience in developing educational resources and professional learning opportunities for students and educators.
- Current and in-depth knowledge of the Québec Education Program, Digital Competency Framework, Reference Framework for Professional Competencies for Teachers, and other Ministerial frameworks well as awareness of current trends in education.
- Knowledge of educational non-profit organizations preferred.
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mobilize a team around a mission and its related challenges as well as work collaboratively with different stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, project management and supervisory skills, namely the ability to set priorities, monitor progress towards goals, track details, data, information and activities.

**Work Environment**:

- The head office is located in Laval and provides a flex workspace environment. The position will require regular presence at the office;
- Occasional regional travel may be required;
COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience and qualifications and aligned to the norms and

standards of LEARN. Compensation includes health and pension benefits.
