Server/waiter

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team - PHO ANH VU VAUGHAN. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. **Responsibilities**:

- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure tables are properly set with utensils, condiments, and napkins
- Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials
- Answer customer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed
- Sanitize tables, chairs, and dining areas to maintain cleanliness standards
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain knowledge of food safety regulations and adhere to proper food handling procedures

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide personalized attention to guests
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation techniques
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Upselling skills to promote additional menu items or specials

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
