**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate daily yard operations, ensuring efficient and safe handling of materials
- Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Manage inventory and ensure proper storage and organization of materials
- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, and other machinery as needed
- Train and mentor yard personnel on proper equipment operation and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and customer requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized yard area

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment
- Proficient in order picking, loading/unloading, and heavy equipment operation
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in outdoor environments

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

- Truro, NS B2N 6S9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
