Working under the supervision of the Lead Cook and reporting directly to the Cafe Manager, you will ensure the smooth execution of daily food operations. Your responsibilities will include menu preparation, adherence to recipes, maintaining food safety standards, and collaborating with the rest of the team. This role provides a valuable opportunity for culinary enthusiasts to contribute to our culinary legacy.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Consistently provide exceptional hospitality, actively seeking opportunities to exceed guest expectations
- Assist in the preparation and execution of innovative menu items, including seasonal features, grab & go items, snacks, light bites, and brunch offerings, while adhering to established recipes and culinary standards
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen team members, baristas and bartenders to ensure efficient food operations, contributing to smooth and productive café operation
- Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Support the Lead Cook and Cafe Manager in various food-related tasks
- Assist in the daily setup and breakdown of the food area, ensuring readiness for service and efficient operation
- Prepare and serve high-quality food items, focusing on skillful preparation and attractive presentation
- Provide friendly and timely assistance to guests with food and beverage orders, enhancing their dining experience
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the café space, kitchen, and food preparation areas throughout the shift, adhering to food safety regulations and ensuring the safety of kitchen operations
- Foster teamwork and maintain a positive working atmosphere

**Qualifications and Experiences**:

- Knowledge of culinary arts, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a kitchen team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Positive and proactive attitude towards culinary tasks and challenges.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Food Handlers’ Certification is required
