**A Film Industry Family in North Vancouver is Seeking a Nanny from May 20 to September 26, 2024, Earn up to $45/Hour

Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- There may be some flexibility with hours once the production schedule is determined, but will guarantee 30 hours per week.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Providing general care for the 3-year-old child.
- Actively engaging in play during the day, through structured activities, games, coloring and workbooks, craft projects, and playground outings.
- Preparing two healthy meals (breakfast and lunch) and two healthy snacks (morning and afternoon) daily, assisting with eating, and cleaning up after meals (no housekeeping necessary).
- Assisting the child with using the potty throughout the day (he is potty trained but still needs assistance).
- Safely taking the child to the playground to play.
- Driving the child to the production office or set.
- Assisting the child with an afternoon rest if needed.

The family is only in Canada for the film/TV production, so this will be a transition for them. In addition to the mom, the child has grown up with his grandparents, who also work in production and will be occasionally helping with the child.

They are particularly looking for someone who will engage thoughtfully and patiently with the son during this time of transition, as he may experience some separation anxiety and hasn't been away from his mom very often. So, they need someone who will be patient in helping him navigate this change.

Driving is required; a vehicle will not be provided.

The family is vaccinated against COVID, and they would appreciate it if the nanny is the same.
