**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities and Duties**

The Driller will be responsible for:

- conducting Daily Pre-Task Health and Safety Meetings
- conducting Daily Truck and Equipment Checklist
- loading equipment, tooling and material for drilling projects
- transporting equipment and tooling to drilling location and following all rules and regulations outlined by the MTO
- conducting environmental and geotechnical drilling programs (i.e. soil sampling, monitoring well installation, monitoring well decommissions, monitoring well repairs, bedrock coring, etc.)
- cleaning and maintaining equipment and tooling
- assisting with maintenance and repairing of drilling equipment
- completing all work related documents and submitting in a timely fashion

**Qualifications and Skills**

Qualified individuals must have:

- 2 years drilling experience (Direct Push or Conventional Rotary Rig)
- valid DZ class license in good standing
- Class 1 or 3 Well Technician License

**Benefits**

After 3 month probation period, individuals will be added to Group Benefit Plan. Bonuses are given at end of each calendar year. DED Inc. offers Group Registered Savings Plan with corporate matching.

Pay: $33.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week

**Experience**:

- drilling: 2 years (required)
- DZ Driving: 3 years (preferred)
