Job Summary:
CSA Group Standards Division has an opportunity for a Manager, PMO, Standards, reporting to the Senior Manager, PMO, Standards. The location for this position is at the CSA office in Toronto. The Manager, PMO is responsible for maintaining the project management systems, tools and processes are established and followed by project management staff. This includes activities such as reporting (standard and ad-hoc), publication planning, providing guidance and data to strategic initiatives, providing project management best practice, and ensuring that all activities conducted within the standards division adhere to CSA's policies and procedures.

A leader, motivator, and self-starter, you thrive on ensuring operational efficiency and executing plans and strategies for supporting the expansion of CSA’s presence in safety standards. An outstanding relationship builder, you have a track record of developing and maintaining relationships with leaders and staff within the organization.

Facilitative and goal-oriented, you have a knack for developing solutions that pragmatically address CSA's operational needs. You also understand the importance of effective people and process management, leveraging the tools and data available to augment your decision-making.

You have proven, well-developed decision-making and communication skills, along with exceptional organizational and people development abilities. You show initiative, ensuring that all operational and financial targets are met, as well as being someone who is motivated, resilient and flexible. Detail and process orientation is important, as is the ability to work well with people at all levels and with divergent interests.

**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for ensuring the divisional dashboard has been populated with operations data and ensuring accuracy.- Provide necessary training to standards division.- Supports yearly publication planning.- Provides ad-hoc reporting to support strategic initiatives.-
- Provides leadership in best practices and operational efficiencies. Establishes and manages processes/procedures to optimize business operations. Strong focus on interfacing with project leaders, project teams, and technology.- Ensures all projects administered by the PMO adhere to the best practices and standard approaches for program and project management.- Specific measurable factors to be determined - will have responsibility for operating budget, operational efficiency targets (e.g. standards development timelines, on-time delivery)- Develops and Executes the CSA’s strategy to formally manage projects and maintain standards for project management in the organization.- Documents business processes as necessary.- Leads the program and project staff to oversee the impacts and interdependencies between programs and works to ensure initiatives meet the goals and objectives of the organization.- Develops and Maintains operational and management reports to measure the performance and productivity at the individual, portfolio, program and divisional level. May involve extracting, merging and manipulating data from a variety of sources.- Manages the day-to-day operation of the PMO. Provides technical instruction and support to PMO staff to ensure timely release of standards and related publications. Allocates resources as required.- Works proactively with staff across the organization to identify and execute process improvement and best practice initiatives.- Recruits, leads, coaches and motivates a high-performance team by building and promoting career paths for professional growth, through goal-setting, continuous feedback, mentoring and training.- Collaborates, maintains and manages strong working relationships with Standards Development team to develop the organization’s longer-term business plans, including communicating with and gaining buy in from all stakeholders.- Fosters a team focused, success-oriented, accountable environment within CSA Group.- Responsible for innovating and implementing industry best practices in Project Management tools, processes and platforms.- Provide
