Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchaser to join our team. As a Purchaser, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of garments and materials. Your role will involve working closely with suppliers, updating pricing, and maintaining inventory levels.
**Responsibilities**:
- Daily purchasing of garments for sales orders and inventory
- Communicate with vendors regarding availablity, etas and shipping
- Communicate with Sales representative regarding product, update orders accordingly
- Receive product into the shopworks system with accurate pricing
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials
- track orders, deliveries, and inventory levels using the Shopworks software program
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies in deliveries or quality
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
- Continuously seek opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
**Skills**:
- Experience in microsoft office and outlook
- Proficient in using procurement software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal sales reps and external suppliers
