We are looking for a **Full Time Shunter **to work Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6:30am at our **Calgary Terminal**

We are a diversified, general freight carrier offering both LTL & TL services in Alberta and British Columbia. At Mustang, our team takes pride in its service-excellence, to meet and exceed our customer expectations.

**Starting Rate: $21.95**

As a **Shunter **you will work on a fast paced cross dock. And be involved in:

- Shunt trailers in yard to appropriate doors
- Assist drivers with coupling and uncoupling of trailers and combinations, including moving convertors
- Inspect trailers before putting them in doors
- Complete yard check
- Loading and unloading 53 foot van trailers, or flat decks
- Sorting freight to be loaded
- Manual lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Operating a forklift from time to time

We are looking for someone who has:

- 2-5 years’ experience operating a sit down counterbalance forklift
- Class 5 License with Q endorsement or Class 1 license
- Previous experience shunting trailers
- A general knowledge of the transportation industry
- Experience loading and unloading LTL trailers using a forklift
- Experience handling dangerous goods considered an asset
- Basic computer skills are required
- Fluent in English
- And a positive attitude
