Flatbed Dispatcher

We are looking for the right individual to lead and compliment our dispatch team.
- Minimum of 2 years experience within flatbed truckload/heavyhaul transportation prefered.
- Multi-tasking required
- Understanding of load securement and driver safety a must
- Contacting Drivers and customers
- Equipment Utilization and Yard Checks
- Tracking Drivers and Loads
- Dealing with multiple customers at once
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English
- Very dependable and takes ownership of work processes
- Able to function effectively under pressure and as a member of a multidisciplinary team with a minimum of supervision
- Communication skills with the ability to involve people in accepting the accountability for their performance
- Initiative - works with general direction and guidance to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved and timely - must be able to prioritize and organize with little direction
- Requires sitting in the same location and many interruptions with telephone calls and satellite messages from drivers
- Requires extreme attention and constant alertness to avoid errors where errors in judgment could affect the company and the customer
- Sales/customer service and ability to find back hauls
- Experience using Loadlink
- Follow all relevant legislation and company policies and procedures
- To represent our company in a professional and courteous manner
- Education equivalent to completion of High School
- Good keyboarding skills with a minimum of 30 wpm
- Good working knowledge of geography, highway traffic rules and regulations and equipment specifications
- Handling approximately 50 drivers
- Trip Planning and work distribution
- Team Player
- Conflict Resolution
- Negotiating situations to meet expectations of customers
- Responsible to handle after hours customer service issues

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
