Shipper/reciever

**Tremcar Inc**. is a leading manufacturer of tank trucks and trailers for several industry sectors, including petroleum tankers, chemical tankers, dry-bulk tankers, and food grade tankers. Tanks are made from aluminum, stainless steel, steel etc. in a wide variety of sizes. All parts and supplies required for these vehicles will be handled by the Shipper Receiver.

**Hours of Operation**:Day Shift (Mon.Thu.: 7:00 am - 4:30pm, Fri.: 7:00 am - 3:15 pm) with occasional overtime. Weekends and statutory holidays off.
- Experience with and knowledge of truck or mechanical equipment parts and components is an asset.
- This position requires familiarity with computerized inventory control systems.
- Use Tremcar software for all receiving, shipping, and issuing parts from inventory.
- Stock shelves with parts in their assigned locations and report shortages.
- Pick parts for production work orders, load on job carts and deliver to the shop.
- Stock shelves with parts in their assigned locations and report shortages.
- Load and unload incoming pallets and boxes by hand or with a forklift truck.
- Match incoming parts orders, with purchase orders and report discrepancies.
- Maintain stockroom parts locations, and cleanliness.
- Take parts calls from customers and fully track, package and ship parts required.
- Perform parts sales, service order entry and job costs using Tremcar software.
- Have physical strength and ability to handle packages up to 50 lbs.
- Experience driving a forklift truck is an asset.
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

**Experience**:

- Shipping & receiving: 2 years (required)
- truck or mechanical parts: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
