**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 6:00am start

Miller Waste Systems Inc. has been in operation since 1961. Miller is a leader in waste management and diversion, providing governments and industries with a wide range of services in the Provinces of Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Manitoba. Miller has over 50 years’ experience in the waste management sector, and currently operates out of more than 30 locations. We are looking for a highly capable DZ Driver/Loader and Loaders to be located out of our Niagara Yard, in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario.

**Requirements**:
In the position of DZ Driver/Loader & Loaders. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Must be able to work Monday to Friday, 10 to 14 hours a day.
- Must be able to work Saturdays and certain holidays, when required.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs, in a fast paced environment.
- Must be physically fit and must have physical experience.
- Must have at least a valid 'G' class driver's licence, as a Loader.
- Must have at least a DZ driver's licence, as a DZ Driver/Loader.
- Must have a clean driver's abstract and CVOR (DZ Driver).
- Must adhere to Miller Waste Systems safety protocols and must be familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act.

**Responsibilities**:

- As a Driver/Loader and/or Loader at Miller Waste Systems, you are responsible for various waste stream residential collections.
- This may include Yard Waste, Blue Box, Green Bin and garbage collections.
- You will empty out all waste receptacles into the collection equipment and place them back onto resident's property, flipped upside down, in the same place that they were removed from.
- You will be required to make an excess of 800 residential stops per day.
- You will provide customers with reliable and high-quality customer service, which includes the proper disposal of the waste streams.
- You will ensure proper disposal of the waste streams in which are vital to the health and well-being of the residents of the community that is being serviced.
- You will collect various waste streams which are to be delivered to the local Transfer Stations, Compost Facilities and/or Landfill Sites, in an efficient and appropriate manner.
- You will do this while adhering to the collection and delivery schedule, while following all relevant policies and procedures of Miller Waste Systems, the Ministry Transportation of Ontario, Ministry of Environment and the by-laws of the Municipalities.
- You will be required to deal with fellow employees, management, residents and members of the public, in a polite and respectful manner at all times.
