- We are seeking a_ **_Production Support Team Member _**_to join our _**_Global Vintners Inc. Team_**
- Reporting into the Production Manager, The Production Support Team Member will be responsible for working with other team members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the processing and packaging line._

**_ We are looking for a teammate with:_**
- 2 to 5 years progressive experience in a food &/or beverage manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma
- GMP/SOP Knowledge/exposure
- Lean Manufacturing experience

**_This teammate will be accountable for:_**
- Ensures Production Efficiency through the efficient operation of production machinery. Assists with the sets up and monitoring of packaging equipment, making adjustments as required.
- Collect all paper work and temperature charts from previous day's production and make copies for production records.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining liquid batch adds ( See QA department for work orders as required)
- Handle all morning and afternoon breaks and lunches on packaging line. Filler morning break only. ( According to your shift rotation )
- Responsible for safe and efficient operation of the filler, following Q.A. specifications. (According to your shift rotation )
- Ensure all mechanical defects are reported to packaging line coordinator, supervisor and maintenance coordinator and proper sanitation/sterilization Q.A. procedures are followed.
- Ensure clear communication with packaging coordinator and packaging personnel on final package quality i.e.; package size, puff etc.
- Assist packaging in the clean up of all leakers on production line.
- Accurately and completely fill out production processing forms. (Through out your shift.)
- Responsible for imputing correct name and batch codes on each package, ensuring legibility. (According to filler shift rotation )
- Ensure proper daily cleaning schedule is completed regarding all aspects of the filler equipment and area. (using foam force and designated cleaning supplies on walls, floors drains, pipes, conveyor, filler etc.)
- Accurate and complete set up of the filler, chute and in feed conveyor for the next day's production.
- Ensure small garbage containers by filler and surrounding packaging area are emptied by end of shift.( According to Responsible for the nightly set up of all packaging equipment, to ensure mínimal fine tuning before next days production of product.(According to your shift) your shift rotation.)
- Assist with any repacks on Fridays.
- Assist with weekly machine maintenance.
- Responsible for emptying of all cardboard and garbage bins throughout the day. (According to your shift rotation.)
- Responsible for assisting with the staging of all reworked product from boxes into bins and then totes. Making ready for processing team. (According to your shift rotation.)
- Maintain compressor and chemical storage area in an orderly fashion. Wash floors once a week.
- Keep in and around malt area clear of all defective skids from production.
- Maintain west side of building of all production related materials in an organized fashion.
- Keep garbage area clean and orderly at all times.
- Assist process operator with malt production as required.
- Responsible for the daily wash down and cleaning of the invert room floor.
- Responsible for the immediate clean up of any spills on the invert room floor.
- Maintain flexible attitude for any other duties you may be assigned by your supervisor.
- Follows safe work procedures and practices and reports all unsafe working conditions / hazards to their reporting Manager.
