**WORKLOAD**:
**QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES**:

- Ph.D or Ed.D in a field of Education by date of appointment;
- A B.Ed. or equivalent with K-12 experience (preferably in both Elementary and Secondary);
- Demonstrated post-secondary teaching excellence in Literacy Education with experience in drama-based pedagogies (a demonstrated ability to teach social studies methods would also be an asset);
- An active program of research with a strong record of funding and publication commensurate with the rank of Assistant Professor;
- Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate, innovate, and foster an inclusive and respectful environment;
- Ability to promote, or at least respect, the institution’s Catholic mission and identity;
- Ability to promote equity, diversity, inclusion, and Truth and Reconciliation.
