- **Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and specifications.- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical requirements.- Execute manual and automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, usability, and security.- Identify, document, and track software defects and anomalies, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.- Perform regression testing to ensure that defects are fixed, and new features are integrated seamlessly.- Participate in design and code reviews to provide input from a quality perspective.- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues that might not be covered by existing test cases.- Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and documentation standards.- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to software testing and quality assurance.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).- 3 to 5 years of related work experience- Proven experience in software quality assurance, including manual and automated testing.- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.- Familiarity with test management tools and issue tracking systems.- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools is a plus.- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.- Strong self-motivation and a proactive approach to tasks and challenges.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and scripting for test automation.- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.-
- ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.
