**Bargaining Unit: UNIFOR-HOSPITAL**

**Status: TEMPORARY Part Time**

**Department: Environmental Services**

**Site: St. Joseph's Hospital**

**Shifts: Days/Evenings including weekends (potential for night shifts in the future)**

**Rate of Pay: $22.70 - $23.07 per hour**

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a healthcare laundry facility a definite asset
- Must be in good physical condition and able to meet the demands of the job
- Will be required to work as a Washer and be able to relieve as a Laundry Aide and Porter
- Basic mending and sewing capabilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work both scheduled shifts and call-ins as required
- Knowledge of WHMIS & Occupational Health & Safety regulations would be an asset
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
