**Quality Assurance Manager**
**FabHR - Ottawa, Ontario**

FabHR is seeking a **detail-oriented and results-driven Quality Assurance Manager** to join our manufacturing team in Ottawa, Ontario. This position plays a key role in overseeing and executing quality assurance functions for sheet steel parts, weldments, and assemblies produced through various CNC-controlled, automated, and manual processes. The Quality Assurance Manager will also be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the integrity of our Quality Management System (QMS).

As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will conduct inspections and measurements, provide corrective feedback to the production team, and track non-conformities to resolution. You will produce all necessary documentation using the Microsoft Office Suite and work closely with the production organization to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain quality assurance documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant quality standards and customer specifications.
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and final assemblies.
- Perform detailed visual inspections and measurements using tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, and coating thickness gauges to validate production parts.
- Complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and communicate quality issues to the production team, tracking each issue to resolution.
- Maintain and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and resolve quality concerns in a timely manner.

**Desired Skills & Experience**
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Minimum of **2 years of experience** in a quality assurance management role.
- **Extensive experience** as a quality assurance inspector in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Solid understanding of **ISO-9001 quality standards**.
- Proficient in completing **Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)** and driving corrective actions.
- Strong **time management**, **planning**, and **organizational skills**.
- Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and a **positive, proactive attitude**.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Exceptional **written and verbal communication skills**.
- Ability to work independently and **multi-task effectively** under pressure.
- A **strong work ethic** with the drive to exceed expectations.
- A **post-secondary diploma in engineering** or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
