As part of our network of independent clinics, you will own your neighborhood and be supported by 200+ peers nationally, sharing in information and knowledge to not only better serve your clients, but to help you grow in your own career.
Our mission is to empower people to live their lives to the fullest by helping them alleviate their foot pain. To continue to help our clients do more in life, work, and play, we’re looking for a **Certified Pedorthist** for our clinic.
**About the Certified Pedorthist role**:
As our new Canadian Certified Pedorthist, your goal is to help our patients achieve and maintain proper foot care and lower limb health so they can live healthy and active lives. You’ll do this by:
- Preparing assessment rooms and completing patient assessments
- Checking appointments and reviewing client files/documentation
- Conducting biomechanical assessments and casting/molding/scanning lower limbs for orthotics
- Engaging with new clients and reviewing services, products, and fees
- Discussing treatments, preparing treatment plans, and making referrals
- Producing custom orthotics, completing orthotic/shoe modifications, bracing and compression clinical fittings

**About this opportunity with BioPed Footcare**:
This is a full-time permanent position working daily out of our clinic typically from Tuesday
- Saturday,
You’ll earn a competitive salary commensurate with experience. You’ll be eligible for our health benefits, employee purchase plan, and paid attendance at our BioPed national conference. We also pay for uniforms/work gear, offer discounted personal footcare products, pay for certification courses/other continuing education, plus offer considerable opportunities for growth and advancement.
**Qualifications**:
- Valid Canadian Certified Pedorthist designation
- An understanding on how to perform biomechanical assessment of lower limb anatomy, muscle, and joint function
- An understanding of appropriate foot orthoses/other pedorthic footwear
We’ll also accept the following designations:
- Certified Pedorthist (MC) Master Craftsman
- Certified Orthopaedic Footwear Specialist (C.O.F.S)
