**Eligibility Requirements**

This position is partially funded by the Canada Summer Jobs fund. In order to be considered for this job you must:

- be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment contract;
- be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment; and,
- have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations

The Human Resources Clerk will work closely with the Human Resources Coordinator to assist with aspects of Human Resource Management; tasks vary based on skill and learning goals. This role may include but aren’t limited to; assisting with recruitment, policies and procedures updates, filing, assisting with mailings, coordinating new employee packages or salary and hourly payroll administration support.

**PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES**
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources function.
- Updating and maintaining filing system.
- Assist with project development and implementation initiatives
- Salary and hourly payroll administration support
- Recruitment support

You have the ability to work with ADP, have great attention to detail and would like to gain experience in administering payroll. You are able to set goals and get results within a set timeline, you are able to multitask and work independently, have effective written and oral communication skills and effective time management, decision making and exceptional organizational skills. You are supportive of interdisciplinary practice and have a high level of confidentiality and are flexible towards change. You in school for and/or working toward a Human Resources designation (asset). You understand and are committed to the Mission, Vision and Values of the Guelph CHC.
