Position Overview:
Join the Finning family Finning Canada is seeking a Journeyperson Helper / Shop Labourer - Electrical to join our growing team in Surrey. As the Journeyperson Helper / Shop Labourer, you will be responsible for general clean-up of shop, yard and machines as well as assisting Journeyperson Electricians and Mechanics with minor repairs.

**Job Description**:

- General clean up of shop, yard and machines
- General service shop duties
- Minor repairs and assisting Journeyperson electricians as required
- Aid Electricians with the removal and installations of electrical components
- Pick up and delivery of parts and equipment
- Assist with forklift duties around the yard and shop
- Other duties as required

Note this is a Monday to Friday (5 x 2 Shift)

Qualifications:

- Completion of Grade 12
- Electrically inclined, mechanical interest, self-starter ability to follow directions, work well within a team environment and contribute positively to a team environment
- Being an Indentured Apprentice (Electrical) is desirable
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work successfully under mínimal supervision
- Past electrical experience specifically commercial or light industrial is beneficial
- Mechanical experience, and Forklift certification would be considered assets
- Valid Drivers License would be an asset
