Laboratory Technician

We are equally committed to the growth and development of our team and are now searching for an energetic and innovative Lab Assistant to join our team. We look for individuals with a service heart and a passion for technology and change.

Average 35 + hours weekly Mon - Fri
Hours of work are generally between 8 am and 6 pm
Start date: As soon as possible

Duties to include but not restricted to:

- Performing EKG, Spirometry, Audiometry, Vision tests
- Doing ear washes
- Giving injections
- Prenatal blood collections, shortlist - Lab - HB, BS, urinalysis, Brevis
- Cleaning, packaging and sterilizing instruments
- Packaging and sending samples (blood, urine, stool, swabs, biopsy samples, etc.)
- Scheduling/contacting patients
- Data entry (lab test results)
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Lab Assistant or Lab Technician preferred.

OR
- MOA or Medical Terminology required with additional training on site possible

- Physically and mentally able to perform required tasks
- Be willing to work on a flexible schedule and be available for holiday relief.

We offer a competitive benefits package to be discussed upon successful employment offer. Starting wage is $19 per hour.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Winkler, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
