This is the perfect opportunity for someone with personal commitments but is still looking to contribute to one of Alberta’s fastest-growing startups. If you’re a parent with children and want to help fulfill orders for a few hours while your kids are in school, or a student, looking to gain experience when not in classes, then this is the role for you
We are looking for a reliable individual who takes pride in their work to be our fulfillment partner. Your primary job will be to fulfill customer orders, you will also be tasked with keeping the warehouse clean and organized, receiving shipments, and keeping accurate inventory counts. The ideal individual will also look for ways to improve the warehouse and current processes to make it more efficient.
Things you should know:
- You must be comfortable with pallet jacks, moving heavy pallets, and lifting boxes that are up to 60lbs. This is not a daily occurrence but a regular part of the job.
- You will be required to be in the warehouse 2-3 days a week, 4-5 hours each day. Our preference is 10am-2pm, however, this is flexible and we can accommodate other reasonable times.
- Flexibility is key. There will be times where extra hours are available.
- Adaptability is also key. An order or task may need to be completed urgently and you’ll need to quickly pivot to accommodate.
- Self-motivated - you will be working independently for the majority of the time. You must be comfortable working alone.
- Communication is important. While you will be working independently, you are part of our team. Communication amongst team members makes everyone’s job run smoothly.
