Pro Shop Manager

Dragonfly Golf Links is seeking an experienced and motivated Proshop Manager to lead the retail and golf operations at our golf facility in Renfrew, Ontario. The Proshop Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pro shop, including merchandising, customer service, staff management, and ensuring a seamless experience for our valued customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day-to-day pro shop operations, including merchandising, sales, and inventory management.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service to golfers, providing assistance with inquiries, tee time bookings, and information about golf courses and products.
- Schedule staff to meet the operational needs of the business.
- Manage and lead a team of pro shop attendants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a cohesive and efficient working environment.
- Curate and manage an attractive and well-organized display of golf equipment, apparel, accessories, and other merchandise.
- Implement strategies to enhance sales and customer engagement.
- Implement effective inventory control procedures, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment orders.
- Oversee the tee time reservation system, ensuring accurate scheduling and optimal utilization of golf courses.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to coordinate golf tournaments, promotions, and other special events hosted at Dragonfly Golf Links.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, maintaining a secure and efficient working environment.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a golf course or sports
- related environment.
- Previous experience as a Proshop Manager or Assistant Manager is preferred.
- Familiarity with golf operations, including tee time management, merchandise sales, inventory management, booking soft-ware, point-of-sale (POS), and golf event coordination.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of pro shop and cart attendants.
- Ability to handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere in the pro shop.
- Solid understanding of golf, including knowledge of golf equipment, apparel trends, and industry developments.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed in the golf industry.
