**FORMWORK CARPENTER HELPER**

Solterra Construction Corp. is currently looking for **Formwork Carpenter Helpers **to be involved in formwork carpentry as assistant/apprentice.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work on various construction projects/sites as directed by the site foreman.
- Perform carpentry tasks, including formwork, backing, building hoarding.
- Stripping forms, cleaning forms, building scaffolding frames for slabs, laying out 4”x6” timbers on deck forms.
- Work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Cooperate with the construction team to deliver project on schedule and to required standards and specifications.
- Assist in controlling quality and correcting deficiencies.
- Perform other related construction tasks as necessary and directed by site foreman.

**Requirements**:

- 1+ years of experience as a carpenter in framing and forming is an asset.
- Carpenter trade qualification or red seal carpentry certificate is an asset.
- Be Familiar with Fall Protection and willing to get certified or trained.
- Physically fit.
- Hardworking, punctual, dependable, organized.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered.

**Job Types**: Full-time, permanent

**Salary**: $28.00 per hour
