Under the supervision of the Operational Finance Controller, the Financial Analyst, Operational Finance is responsible for supporting operations and the costing team, in order to evaluate and influence the operational efficiency of plant activities.

**YOUR TYPICAL DAY IN THIS JOB**:

- Build reports and rigorously analyze performance indicators (KPIs, production and consumption variance, inventory discrepancies, direct labor analysis, etc.);
- Act as a business partner with the managers of the departments responsible for their costs (gather the information necessary to establish annual financial forecasts, analyze them and explain the differences, according to the authorized budget);
- Actively participate in the budget process;
- Monitor the cost of capitalizable projects (ensure the maintenance and monitoring of budgetary and financial controls in accordance with applicable standards and rules);
- Participate in the maintenance of the cost price and its improvement (work in partnership with the industrial engineering team for the revision of the rates);
- Participate in monthly closing processes (inventory and accruals entries, financial statement analyses);
- Participate in standardization and continuous improvement projects within the finance department and suggest innovative ideas/initiatives;
- Related tasks.

**IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES, YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- A BAC in accounting, CPA-CA title an asset;
- 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, and experience in a manufacturing environment required;
- Experience in accounting focused on operations (operations and cost price);
- Be comfortable in a changing environment;
- Functional English;
- Advanced Excel level;
- Experience with an ERP system (e.g. SAP) (an asset) ;
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ensure work is completed on time;
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization;
- Good analytical skills, rigorous and detail-oriented;
- Good team spirit;
- Very good ability to work on several projects simultaneously;
- Ability to show initiative, autonomy and prioritize actions to obtain maximum results.
