GFL Environmental is looking for a EHS Administrator to join our Waste Processing operations based out of the Toronto area The Health, Safety & Compliance Administrator will perform health, safety, and compliance functions as assigned by management, such as manage corporate safety databases and safety communication. In this role, you will be responsible for completing various administrative duties, including incident reporting, development of electronic safety documentation and onboarding along with clerical work.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Administrative support for incident management, inspections and auditing software
Support the preparation of reports of incidents and injuries
Cooperate in the preparation of materials for insurance
Weekly reports on operations hours and incidents to be completed in a timely matter
Support WSIB claim reporting, return to work activities and modified work programs, as needed
Provide information and resources for safety tailgates with staff
Communicate information to employees regarding health and safety policies and procedures
Participate on Joint Health and Safety Committee, as needed
Provide support and administrative assistance to the health and safety team
Oversee incentive programs and other H&S related campaigns
Support the creation of electronic inspections, audits and reports in the corporate software (i.e. SEMs/Enablon)
Maintain safety files, employee records and training databases
Perform other duties as required

**Knowledge, Skills and Competencies**:
College Diploma or University Degree, preferably in health and safety
1-3 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Health and Safety or a related role
Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation and industry safety standards
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with attention to detail in all areas of work
Self-starting proactive individual who can work well independently and in a team environment
Able to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment
