The Production Tech works as a liaison between the Headquarter Production team and the onsite Operations team. Reporting to the Production Lead, you will be a part of the team to ensure all Production elements are installed, executed, operated, maintained, and struck in adherence to schedule, budget, and creative intent. This is a dynamic and demanding role that requires a high level of adaptability and collaboration.

**COMMITMENT DURING SEASON**:

- Must be prepared to work each day of the Load-in, Install, Run-of-Show, Strike and Load-out, including weekends.
- This includes the holiday season: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.
- Work hours may vary depending on site needs and operating hours.
- Travel may be required.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**:

- Execute all production elements in line with the established creative intent and HQ Production plan.
- Review production plans and overall requirements; identify and work with Production Lead and HQ Production team on any gaps in design or installation planning.
- Work with all teams onsite to ensure all technical and design aspects are maintained throughout the production run, including required repairs, testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving as required.
- Communicate and collaborate any onsite production changes to the Production Lead, HQ Production team, and corresponding departments.
- Communicate and coordinate with onsite vendors as needed.
- Assist with local purchasing needs for any adjustments onsite as needed.
- Inventory onsite production assets and maintain records of any damage.
- Perform periodic assessments during run-of-show and report any issues to the Production Lead and HQ Production team.
- Document as-installed adjustments to the design and create documentation where none exists.
- Operate production equipment for run-of-show on a daily basis, including but not limited to: lighting, audio, special effects equipment.
- Ensure all suppliers and crew follow site safety regulations and protocols.

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM**:

- Experience in: events & entertainment, theater & stage shows, art exhibit installations, and/or trade shows & conventions.
- Familiarity with all elements of production including but not limited to: scenic, props, lighting, audio, SFX, networking.
- Proficient in: Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Smartsheets, and Slack.
- Strong communication and collaboration.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Self-driven.
- Understanding of event installation methodologies: tools, equipment, materials, and processes.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Our venues span over 100,000 square feet.
- Must be able to frequently walk and stand for long durations.
