Power Saw Operator

**Job Duties**:

- Brush cutting (slashing) using Chainsaws
- Working on steep slopes and uneven ground
- Chipper operation and loading brush
- Pole saw operation
- Tree girdling
- Abide by Adept Vegetation Management Inc., client and Industry safety policies and procedures
- Providing excellent customer service
- When assigned to Sunshine Coast Crew - Work shift is 10 days on and 4 days off, with live out allowance and paid accommodations.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years on the job experience with maintenance and safe power saw operation
- Valid BC Drivers license
- Valid First Aid certification an asset
- Certified Faller and/or Tree Climber an asset
- Chainsaw training certificate an asset
- Ability to work safely as a part of a team and possess the willingness to learn and progress
- Experience with brushing and weeding in the Silviculture industry an asset

Adept Vegetation Management Inc. has been performing Vegetation Management Services (Utility Line Clearing, Tree removals & pruning) for over 19 years. We have multi-year contract agreements as a service provider for BC Hydro Transmission Department on Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast. With the mild weather on the West Coast and Lower Mainland we are able to work year-round with mínimal disruptions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$33.00 per hour
