Welcome to Community Employment Choices, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals on their employment journey. Our organization is committed to providing comprehensive employment services to the residents and businesses of Middlesex County community by fostering growth, and making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

We are actively seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Outreach Specialist at Community Employment Choices. You will play a crucial part in connecting with potential clients (job seekers), guiding them through our services, and ensuring they have seamless access to our programs. Additionally, you will take on social media and marketing assistant responsibilities, contributing to our outreach efforts and increasing awareness of our services.

**Responsibilities Include**
- Conduct outreach activities to identify and engage potential clients in the community
- Collaborate with community partners to enhance outreach efforts and expand service access
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our services to effectively communicate benefits and eligibility criteria to potential clients
- Track and report on outreach efforts, client engagement, and service utilization
- Identify new partnership opportunities that directly align and support our clients, employers and our community, with a focus on job seekers that have higher barriers and are furthest from the labour market, which includes individuals from specific inclusion groups
- Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance the organization's online presence
- Create engaging content for various social media platforms to attract and inform the community
- Monitor and respond to social media inquiries, fostering positive relationships with online audiences
- Collaborate with the management team to design promotional materials and campaigns
- Track and analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in communications, public relations, marketing or related field or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in client acquisition, public relations, community outreach, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Employment Ontario programs and services is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Experience in social media management and marketing
- Driver’s licence and reliable transportation required

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyze client needs and effectively match them with appropriate services
- Knowledge of, and familiarity with, community resources within Middlesex County
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data tracking systems
- Creativity in content creation and campaign development
- Familiarity with social media analytical tools
- Some evenings and weekends may be required
