Shingler

**Duties**:

- Install and repair roofs using various types of shingles
- Measure and cut shingles to fit specific areas of the roof
- Lay out roofing materials in an organized manner
- Remove old or damaged shingles and replace them with new ones
- Install underlayment and other protective layers on the roof
- Ensure that all work is done according to safety standards and building codes
- Clean up debris and maintain a clean work area

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a shingler or in a similar roofing position
- Knowledge of different types of shingles and roofing materials
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and cuts
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work on roofs for extended periods of time
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license preferred

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Part-time hours: 15-25 per week

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- roofing: 3 years (preferred)
