**Educational/ Qualification Requirements**: Currently enrolled or completion of Health Care Food Service Worker training program offered by an established College of Applied Arts and Technology or a registered private Career Collegein Ontario. Participation in or completion of a Food Safety Awareness program offered by the Public Health Unit. Additional Proven Courses and Skills will be considered in determining the best qualified individual.
**Skills/ Ability Requirements**:One to three years experience as a Food Service Worker in an institutional or Long Term Care setting. Experience in Facility. Proven temperament and ability to work in this type of environment as evidenced by positive supervisor’s comments and performance reviews in employee file. Where this factor is relatively equal, experience in other Long Term Care settings will be considered. Knowledge of large scale food preparation and nutritional requirements of long term care clients
**Personal Attribute Requirements**:Excellent people skills, satisfactory police check, flexible and able to adapt to resident needs, caring, compassionate. (As evidenced by employee performance reviews and positive supervisor’s comments).
**Other Factors**:Excellent co-operation with supervisors and co-workers (as evidenced by Employee File and Supervisor's positive comments) Previous Documentation on File, Compliance with CONMED Health and Safety Policy. Acceptable personal hygiene and grooming. Excellent attitude and problem solving abilities. Memberships on Facility Multi-Disciplinary Teams
