**The opportunity**:
The Asper School of Business is looking for a Co-op Education Administrator. This position will assist the Co-op Coordinators and CDC Director in the day-to-day administrative operations provide to manage the collection of the academic components of the Co-operative Education Program at the Asper School of Business. The Co-op Education Administrator will serve as the first point of contact for students, employers, faculty, staff inquiries related to the co-op program. This position will provide preliminary resume and cover letter critique for students and initial support for employers in regard to recruitment processes and will possess knowledge of career management skills, recruitment practices and job search strategies.

The Co-op Education Administrator will assist with implementing marketing strategies internal and external to the school including updating brochures, posters, bulletin boards, social media sites, the website and, assisting with special event planning and co-op-specific employer and student workshops and sessions.

**The qualifications and experience we’re looking for**:

- Completion of a formal training program in a related discipline is required.
- University degree in business, human resources, or career management preferred.
- Four years of administrative experience with demonstrated ability to manage databases required.
- Experience working directly with students and the business community required.
- Experience in managing budgets and preparing reports is an asset.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word are required.
- Strong client service focus; excellent communication skills required.
- Must demonstrate initiative and work well both independently and in a team environment.
- Must be able to take ownership of areas of responsibility and be committed to continuous improvement.
- Must show flexibility and adaptability in coping with changing priorities; able to manage and prioritize work delegated from different team members.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with team members, students and employers required.
- Ability to contribute creatively to develop marketing strategies and implement social media
- Campaigns through the development of marketing materials.
- Ability to complete assignments independently with little or no supervision required.
- Proven accuracy and attention to detail required.
- Basic accounting knowledge is required.
- Proficiency maintaining a web page using Drupal would be an asset.
- Proficiency with Aurora Finance and Banner would be an asset.
- Professional appearance and conduct are required.
- Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
