Forklift Operator

**Reports to**: Shop Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain an excellent attendance record
- Safe operation of mobile equipment, such as a forklift, for material movement
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Ensure yard is kept maintained, organized, and clean
- Following instructions from supervisor and completing general labouring duties as required

**Requirements/Qualifications**
- Previous experience working in a yard environment is an asset
- Experience with a forklift and/or forklift certification is necessary
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Must be physically fit, able to lift 50 lbs., and be on feet for long periods to perform labour and physical work
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Possess problem solving skills
- Ability to speak and understand English clearly
- Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as needed
- Local or willing to relocate

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
