**Psychometrist Contract Position**

**Role of the Psychometrist (under supervision of a Registered Psychologist)**:

- Administering & scoring psychometric tests assessing cognitive abilities, memory, academics ++ in children and adolescents (e.g., WISC, WIAT, CMS, PPVT, EVT, NEPSY)
- Recording behaviour observations during testing
- Administering rating scales
- Writing comprehensive reports
- Maintaining accurate record keeping
- Qualifications:

- Masters degree in Psychology or related field (current Masters students will be considered)
- Previous experience working with children and adolescents
- Experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum an asset
- Experience working with preschool-aged children an asset
- Experience assessing or treating mental health difficulties an asset
- Desire to learn & grow professionally
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, online record keeping, Q Interactive, Q-Global)
- Detail-oriented
- Organized with strong planning & prioritization skills (ability to meet deadlines)
- Reliable & punctual
