The Director Marketing ANZ will be responsible for leading our Corporate Marketing, Agency Ingram Micro and Platform Marketing strategy for ANZ, supporting the growth of Ingram Micro as the IT Industry’s most desired business partner. Our goal is to drive outcome marketing and you are expected to scale high-performing marketing programs, introduce consultative selling skills, develop marketing plans using data analytics.

To do this, we modernize our marketing capabilities and automate our marketing practices, strengthen Ingram Micro’s brand and develop the talent inside Marketing, Agency Ingram Micro business.

This role will sit on our ANZ and Marketing, Senior Leadership Team (SLT), reporting directly to the Executive Director, Global Marketing (APAC) and responsible to the Chief Country Executives (CCEs) in ANZ. Responsible for Marketing P&L, in-country business growth and growing our Marketing Operating Income (OI). You will also foster strong relationships with regional and local Vendor Representatives who rely on Ingram Micro to generate profitable growth.

Your role:

- Lead the ANZ marketing team for setting vision, strategy, and direction to be aligned with business objective and go-to-market strategy.
- Develop and execute the growth marketing strategy to drive the company's key performance metrics including pipeline, revenue, net retention, upsell, and growth targets.
- Building Ingram Micro’s brand equity, establish a strong brand for Ingram Micro in the marketplace.
- Plan and manage the marketing budget on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis with delivery or ROI to budget
- Manage a profitable Marketing P&L with continuous growth of vendors/partners marketing programs and increase of YOY net marketing incomes.
- Scale high performance marketing programs, introduce consultative selling skills, develop marketing plans to achieve marketing outcome.
- Drive marketing operation excellence by automates marketing administration and ensure compliance regulations are consistent and adhere.
- Drive bespoke digital marketing campaigns, establish modern digital marketing services, focus on data & analytics for insights to drive incremental revenue stream from a better Customer Platform Experience.
- Provide leadership to digital content creation that drive creative and engaging contents that not only as a differentiator but as a audience builder and content that drive conversions.
- Build a team of inhouse Marketing professionals that the vendors, partners and Ingram Micro stakeholders depend on for solving the business challenges, scale businesses and establishing a strong brand for Ingram Micro.
- Lead the modernization of our Marketing efforts by digitizing the operations for efficiency, excellence and compliance management.
- Establish strong relationships with regional Vendor Representatives to communicate how Ingram Micro serves as a trusted and innovative business partner in the ANZ region.
- Proficiency in influencing change through vision and inspiration - A Change Agent to manage and drive change implementation between the Marketing and the stack holders to ensure adoption, effectiveness, and smooth implementation.
- Collaborate with product teams, sales teams, and other marketing functions to define and lead growth initiatives that drive acquisition, retention, expansion, and referrals in each segment, including vendor, end user, channel partner, eco-system partner, etc.
- Collaborate with product and sales to ensure proper process and management of marketing leads to support exceptional efficient lead scoring, lead management, enhanced data quality, and improved lead quality.
- Foster relationships with key media contacts, key opinion leader and influencers to drive and influence media coverage and exposure.

What you bring to the role:

- Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 15+ years’ experience in distribution, technology, product, or services industries with 10+ years in a senior leadership capacity and leading through subordinate managers.
- Extensive, relevant, and proven IT Channel, distribution, and vendor experience.
- Extensive, relevant, and proven Channel Marketing and Corporate Marketing experience, with deep knowledge about Digital Marketing, Demand Generation, and experience with eCommerce
