IT Specialist

We are seeking an outstanding IT Specialist or ambitious IT Support Specialist who is passionate about technology and helping people. We will rely on you to provide responsive, efficient, and effective IT Support. In this role, you will be focused on assisting the managed helpdesk with daily support tasks, managing all employee equipment setup/configuration and assisting with IT projects as needed.

**IT Specialist Responsibilities include**:

- Provide day to day support of all systems (server, desktop, laptop, cell)
- Provide second level support to managed helpdesk.
- Monitor and manage daily backup/restore jobs for all locations
- Provide basic training to users in one-on-one sessions and assist them in resolving operational problems.
- Resolve routine operating problems and coordinate the resolution of more complex issues with the managed helpdesk.
- Optimize, recommend, and implement process enhancements as required.
- Participate in special projects as required.
- 5-day work week with possibility of additional hours for emergencies or special projects.
- Some travel between locations may be required.

**IT Specialist Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years of relevant IT experience or equivalent education or IT certifications
- Strong understanding of Windows OS’s and their configuration
- Strong understanding of Samsung and iPhone devices
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration, Azure, Intune Device Management, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office 365
- Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
- Professional appearance and presentation required
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
