If you are a reliable, organized and hard working individual with a background in Quality Assurance, you may be just who we are looking for The successful applicant will be a versatile team player, have strong time management skills and maintain a high attention to detail. Applicants, including recent graduates, with a diploma in a physical/chemical/food/animal science or technology are encouraged to apply.

Please note that we are looking for someone with availability to work afternoons, evenings and weekends.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Sampling of materials for testing.
- Testing of materials using NIR analyzer.
- Performing chemical and physical tests on the feed or raw material.
- Maintain and report test results.
- Maintain indexed library of samples from manufacturing.
- Audit production test results and report.
- Audit manufacturing procedures.
- Occasional lifting and forklift driving.
- Other duties as assigned by QA Manager.

**Experience/Qualifications**:

- Degree or diploma in food science, animal science or equivalent.
- Understanding basic GMP, food safety and HACCP.
- Ability to work in team setting or independently.
- Be flexible with working hours.( Afternoon shift and weekend shift work is required)
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with computer (word and excel).
- Experience in feed/food manufacturing environment is a big asset.

**Working Conditions**:

- Dry feed processing and manufacturing environment.
- High noise level and fast-paced environment.
