Do you like working with children that are eager to learn?

As a coach, you will teach your students how to safely perform beginner, intermediate, and/or advanced parkour skills and ninja obstacle techniques. You will report to the gym manager and perform the following responsibilities:
**Main Responsibilities**:
Lead and supervise classes with boys and girls of different age groups and talents;
Lead the standard warm-up and teach parkour/ninja skills and abilities;
Ensure orderly classes: spread time evenly between all participants, positively

Reinforce performance, and don’t tolerate disrespectful behaviour;
**Ensure a safe environment**:
Adhere to safe practices for all equipment;
Ensure the correct technique is used while spotting;
Inform about facility safety rules all new participants;
Thorough knowledge of emergency and evacuation procedures.

**Planning and Preparation**:
Always approach with a positive attitude;
Arrive prepared and ready to teach written lesson plans;
Arrive at least 5 minutes before class or meeting start times;
Wear appropriate coaching attire;
Take student attendance, assessments and submit timesheets prior to the deadline;
**NEVER **sit while coaching or chit-chat with other coaches;
Communicate with the program manager on a weekly basis regarding teaching schedule and gymnast performance. Determine who will sub your class if absent;
Find a sub your class if absent;
Train new instructors (through shadowing).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
