**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement programming that supports observations from childrens' play
- Facilitate classroom experiences and maintain a positive learning atmosphere
- Utilize time management skills to ensure children's needs are met
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Use positive language and modelling to motivate and engage students - Perform daily tasks to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the play spaces - Assess and support our learners with self-help, physical, and social-emotional skills

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with children in a daycare environment using FLIGHT as a curriculum framework, and willing to learn more
- Proficiency in English; fluency in additional languages is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Alberta licensing expectations
- Ability to adapt to the needs and interests of the children
- Ability to engage with children at their level, from sitting on the floor for play to staying active and participate in their energetic activities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
